The Athens half-day tour depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. Continue the expert guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the ACROPOLIS museum. Avoid and skip the lines of the new museum. A half day tour taking in the features and history of this beautiful city. I had a 4.5 hours guided by Marianna for Key Day Tours I found Marianna to be very informative and extremely knowledgable, I am now much more informed and impressed with the history. All because of Marianna's knowledge.

I loved being in Athens, I booked these tour via www.viator.com. I had to go in to confirm with Key Day Tours, their offices were easy to find, staff were efficient and helpful. The half-day city tour was okay, the guide was knowlegeable and friendly. However, in places like the Acropolis where there are crowds of people and other tour groups, it was difficult to hear the guide(not the guides fault I know). I would suggest the use of those headsets so as to hear the guide at all time. Also because of the crowds, one could not enjoy places at ones leisure. I actually missed my bus, because it took me so long to get down from the Acropolis (Yes the bus didnot wait for me). Luckily the next stop was the New Acropolis Museum, 300m away so it was easy for me to get to and join the tour again. The New Acropolis Museum is definately a must see. Our guide was very insightful here and could hear her clearly as there were no crowds to compete with.

We were looking for a fun activity for four teens to spend time together in Athens. We chose the Athens city tour with the new museum. It gave us an organized way to see the highlights of Athens. We were very satisfied with the whole experience.

Me and my husband visited Greece in September and were anxious to see all the ancient monuments all around this beautiful country. At first we thought about renting a car and doing it on our own but after watching how difficult driving around narrow streets and parking the car was, we decided that it would be best if we found someone to take us to the places we wanted. The reception desk of our hotel informed us on the organized tours that Key Tours offers so we decided to give it a try. We really were surprised at the knowledge and the way our guide showed us around the city of Athens, the Acropolis and the new museum of the Acropolis with all the amazing exhibits( just imagine that in order for someone to get a ticket for the museum, he would have to wait about 15’ but being in a group you get in without having to wait)! It was an excellent experience and the next days we also took Delphi and Epidaurus – Mycenae tours as well. We couldn’t have done it better ourselves!

Last May, my wife and I went on a tour of Italy, France and Greece. We used different tour companies for every country and Key Tours in Athens is by far the most efficient and reliable of all. Not only were they on time in picking us up for our city tour, the guides were very courteous and knowledgeable. I have already recommended them to my brother who is going to visit Athens in August 2012.

We enjoyed this tour very much. The guide, Evi, was informative and told the history of Athens and the sights we were seeing in a concise and entertaining manner. The Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum were amazing and well worth seeing.
